Building muscles can be the easiest thing to do when you know what to do, but can also be the toughest thing when you don’t have a clue on what you are supposed to do. Muscle building is more than just going to the gym and aiming to lift more than yesterday. There are many aspects of muscle building that many people starting out fail to consider. It might not seem like much, but many of these aspects will affect your progress. This is why it is easier for people who have done it before to do it again within a short period of time.
One fact you must always live with, is that your body is different from that of other people. Comparing your progress to other people may discourage you and make you feel like you are not achieving enough. It is important to set your own goals instead of competing with other people. Many studies have shown that certain people can easily build muscle while others will have to struggle and put in more effort. It can be compared to people who eat less and get fat while some eat more but retain their small bodies.
When building muscles, ensure you don’t compromise on your health. What is the use of building muscle and later getting serious conditions that will negatively affect your body? There are many reviews online that you can read before you start using a product.
You Have to Get Strong to Build Muscle
There is a chance of transforming your physique of you keep doing the same workouts over and over again. You have to force adaptation to occur. This can be easily done by adding weight to the bar.
One source of motivation when working out is setting a rep personal record. Write down the most reps you can do and strive to increase it in the coming weeks or months. If you can go 6-8 reps now, start working on how you can do 12-15 reps with the same weight. This is the right way to force your body to grow.
When you reach our target, add the weight and start it all over again. The number of reps you do is nothing if the weight you are lifting does not change. It is better to lift heavier weights and do few reps than do many reps using light weights. Always remember to put quality over quantity.
Use Compound Muscle-Building Exercise
Exercises that allow you to use the greatest amount of weights is the best because they allow you build muscles fast. There is minimal chance to build your muscles with only machine exercises and isolation movements. Some of the compound workout you should be doing include; military presses, squats, low inclined presses, rows, deadlifts sled work and loaded carries.
The workout you do should not take way too much out of you and places a huge demand on your recoverability. Look for variations of the workouts that are more fun.
Complement the Big Lifts with Bodyweight Exercises
For an injury free training and well-rounded physique, you should have an equal amount of muscle building bodyweight exercises like; Chin ups, single leg squat and lunge variations, Dips, inverted rows, plank variations, pushup variations, and glute ham raises.
Nutrition – Eating Right Makes All the Difference
This is one of the most underlooked aspects of bodybuilding. This is because many people believe that lifting weights is the only thing that has a direct effect on the market. Building muscles involves repair of the muscles, and proteins are needed in doing this.
